Course of the visit

• Presentation of the classified forest of Téné
• Presentation of the project
• Visit of forest plantations in agroforestry for 2 years, with or without bananas
• Visit to 4 year old agroforestry plantations
• Visits to the Cutting Centre
• Visits to a 7 year old teak-samba blend
• Visit of the demonstrator (which suffers from the dry season)

Following this visit, discussions were initiated with SCB to study the feasibility of working in partnership in the reforestation projects they are initiating in the Béoumi area.
