Last October, SCB came to visit the demonstrator of mixed plantations in the classified forest of Téné (Report of the visit here). Left enchanted by the potential of the innovation, SCB requested the assistance of the project team to help them respond to a call for tenders to finance a feasibility study for the implementation of the innovation on a 1750 ha site in Béoumi. The ATIBT retained the SCB proposal in April 2020 and is therefore funding expertise to deploy the innovation implemented on the demonstrator on a larger scale. In this context, Aimé Kouassi, an expert recruited by CIRAD, has come to visit the demonstrator to be able to draw on his expertise.
